ALL MALE SENIORS 

Make sure you register with Selective Services at SSS.gov. It is federal law that you register within 30 days of your 18th birthday. You can pre register at 17 and 3 months. Registering will allow you to receive federal funds for college loans and grants., get federal ,state, and local government jobs. It takes about 45 seconds.

College Fairs

October 29-Christian College Fair at Tree City Church on Eagle Rd from 6-8pm

Oct. 30 9am to 2pm and 6-8pm- National College Fair at Expo Idaho. It is Free and students are encouraged to register at gotomyncf.com. Students must have permission to go during the school day.

Micron-job shadow

Micron is again offering job shadows for 10 -12th graders.This one day event allows the students to experience much more than a “one-off” job shadow day:

  • Introduction to Micron and the semiconductor industry; who we are, what we make and how we make it.
  • 2.5 hour Job Shadow with a mentor in the area they choose
  • Lunch with the mentors
  • 1.5 hour information and demonstration tables, including engineering demonstrations and college representatives
  • 30 minute career and college “what to do next” session

Foreign Exchange Student

Who can open their home to Victoire from France arrives this January! She’s only here for 6 months. She requested Idaho to have her exchange year. She enjoys gymnastics, skiing, piano, board games, baking cakes, hiking, biking & tennis.
